Achieving the perfect smile isn't always as simple as brushing and flossing daily. Sometimes, you need a little extra help to achieve sparkling white teeth. Dr. Tammy Chen understands the importance of combining art and science of both dentistry and aesthetics to achieve optimal results. As a renowned dentist and aesthetic expert,  Dr. Chen offers a wide range of treatments, including teeth whitening, to help you achieve the smile you desire.

The Teeth Whitening Process

The teeth whitening process typically involves two consultations that are performed at Central Park Dental Aesthetics. Here's what you can expect:

  • First Appointment: A perfect smile begins with a consultation with Dr. Tammy Chen or Dr. Arianna Lowney . During this visit, digital scans of your teeth will be made to create custom, clear plastic trays.

  • Second Appointment: In this consultation, you will try on the trays for proper fit, and adjustments will be made if necessary. These trays will be worn with a special whitening solution either twice a day for 30 minutes, or overnight for a couple of weeks, depending on the degree of staining and the desired level of whitening.

It is normal to experience tooth sensitivity while you are whitening your teeth, but this sensitivity usually subsides shortly after the treatment is finished.

After the process is complete, you will receive care instructions for your teeth and trays. Its crucial to understand that teeth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up may be needed every several years, and more often if you smoke, drink coffee, tea, or wine.

Other Aesthetic Treatments to Complement your Smile
